Pro Design, the company behind Inspired Shades, was founded in 2007 by Chris and Stephanie John. Over the years, they have grown from a 2-person duo, to a team of creative, dedicated individuals.

Building the LEGACY of Ownership

Chris and Stephanie John founded Pro Design in 2007 with a vision to help customers grow and succeed through being an innovative and dependable partner to them. They quickly learned that the quality of service and support they gave was as important to their customers as the quality of the products.

As the company grew, the need to build a caring and supportive team informed every decision about our company culture: how to grow, who to invite onto the team, and how to train and motivate them. This even extended to how to design our office environment to support teamwork.

When it came time to transition the business to future owners, it made perfect sense to convert Pro Design to an Employee-Owned Company (ESOP) as it leaves Pro Design in the hands of the people who understand it best and care most about its future – its employees. We are proud to be 100% Employee Owned.
