Product Highlight: Sliding Panels

Sliding Panels are functional and inventive! Cover large windows and doors for modern, complete privacy. Put the finishing touch on a room's design by complementing existing shades with pairing with a set of clean, contemporary sliding panels in the same pattern or texture. We offer sliding panels for both our Roller Shade and Natural Shade Collections.

ONE-WAY OPENING
One-way opening sliding panels are configured with a stationary rear panel and all other panels stack in front. When open, all of the panels stack back to either the right or the left.*

Reverse stacking, and free-floating panels are also available.

*Be sure to specify on placed orders which side of the window the panels will stack.

CENTER-OPENING or SPLIT DRAW
Center-opening, or split draw, sliding panels are configured with back left and front right stationary panels and the other two panels stack accordingly. This configuration requires an even number of panels, which will stack to both sides. When made with four panels, the back left and front right panels are stationary. When made with six or eight panels, the rear panels on both sides will be stationary and all other panels will stack in front of both sides.*

Reverse stacking, and free-floating panels are also available.

LINERS AND EDGE BINDING
Liners are available in either light-filtering or black-out. For Natural Shades, they are sewn under the edge binding on all four panel sides.

Natural Shade panels will come standard with narrow 1" edge binding, which means that 1/2" will be visible on the face of the panels. Wide 3" edge binding is also available in the same colors as a surcharge option.

VALANCES
Natural Shades
Valances are attached by velcro to the front and sides of the track. Valance material is railroaded and will be oriented differently to the panels. We recommend ordering a valance with the original sliding panel order, as the velcro will then be riveted to the front of the track to ensure a lasting bond. For inside mount, the valance will cover the front of the shade only. For outside mount, the valance will be made to wrap around both ends of the track.

Roller Shades
Free-handing fabric valances are installed separately to the shade on a wooden head rai. Custom lengths are available to order. Valance returns are not available. We do not recommend this option for outside mount. The Inspired Box Valance is also available for Roller Shade orders. This installs separately to the panel track.
