SHC DCRF Motor Minimum Width Change

Natural Roller Shades and Natural Shades

A new, quieter SHC DCRF motor will be introduced for Natural Roller Shade and Natural Shade products. Due to the updated motor design, the minimum shade width will increase from 14 1/2" to 16 1/2". 

Please note the following effective dates:

• May 19, 2026 – Natural Roller Shades
• June 9, 2026 – Natural Shades

Orders placed on or after these dates will require a minimum width of 16 1/2" for shades utilizing the SHC DCRF motor. There are no changes to the minimum width for the SHC Rechargeable Lithium-Ion motor.

If you have a current open quote in Touchpoint for a Natural Roller Shade or Natural Shade order with SHC DCRF motors narrower than 16 1/2", please revalidate the quote before sending the order through to ensure it aligns with the new programming.
