 Thank you for your support of our Fabric Roman Shade Collection. We've made some specification changes to motorized shades from this collection. Installation Bracket We've improved the installation bracket for motorized shades. All shades will now use the 1 3/4" installation bracket. This will reduce the flush mounting depth for motorized shades to 3". It will also reduce the gap between the wall and the back of the shade for outside mount applications. AC Motor Minimum The AC motor now has a minimum width of 22 1/8". This change has been updated in our ordering system. If you have a current open quote in Touchpoint for a Fabric Roman Shade order using AC motors, please revalidate the quote before sending the order through to ensure it aligns with the new specifications. Dual Sheer Shade Collection As we continue to work towards making nylon loops available for clutch controls shades, we will be adding a plastic bead chain option for our Dual Sheer Shade Collection. The plastic bead chain is available in the same standard colors and sizes as the nylon loops and will not include a surcharge. We will still offer the option to upgrade to a metal bead chain at no charge through July 15th. After this date, metal bead chain will be available as a surcharge item. Fabric Delayed for Widths Over 78" We have corrected a fabric dye lot issue for Anna Black from our Roller Shade Collection. In previous dye lots, the fabric has shown red with light coming through. This has been corrected for future orders. We are now stocked with the corrected fabric for all shade orders up to 78" wide. The factory is weaving roll goods for wider widths and expects to be fully stocked by mid-July. Effective immediately, all new orders for Anna Black shades 78" and under will be made with the corrected fabric, and all new orders over 78" will be shipped once the wide roll goods are available in July. Hattie Drapery Fabrics Discontinued Please note the below Hattie Fabrics from our Drapery Panel Collection have been discontinued.
We have been working with the factory to solve a weaving issue with these fabrics. Unfortunately, we have found the problem cannot be solved. Please discard these fabrics from your Drapery Panel sample book. If you have a current order in this fabric, the factory will proceed with your order normally. They are carefully selecting sections of fabric from the roll goods that do not have the weaving defects to fill these orders. We know this is a popular fabric, and we apologize that it must be discontinued. We are now working to find a replacement option with a similar fabric texture that can be woven more reliably. Until replacements are available, please see below for current fabrics that are comparable in color to Hattie. Clutch Control Changes
ANSI/WCMA Standard To remain compliant with ANSI/WCMA standards taking effect June 1, 2024, we are making changes to the clutch control options available in our collections. We are changing our cord tensioner. The tensioners that are currently approved for use under the standard can be used with beaded chain and are not available with nylon cord loops. Beaded chains must also be continuous and cannot use a bead connector. See below for how these changes will affect each of our collections. These changes will take effect for orders placed on and after June 1, 2024. Changes will be reflected in our ordering system. Touchpoint quotes entered prior to 6/1 that include clutch control must be re-validated before submission to ensure the available chain loops are ordered.
