We’re excited to announce that beginning January 27, 2026, all Top-Down Bottom-Up (TDBU) Natural Shade orders will include a Top Bar Grip designed to improve comfort and control during everyday operation. The Top Bar Grip ships in two pieces and installs effortlessly on the top rail, accommodating a wide range of fabric thicknesses. With its integrated handle, the Top Bar Grip allows the shade to be easily lifted or lowered by hand, and for tall windows, it can be paired with a Lift Assist Pole (sold separately) for added reach and convenience. Please note that the Top Bar Grip is designed specifically for Natural TDBU shades and is not compatible with Fabric Roman TDBU shades.

We are excited to announce a specification improvement for motorized shades ordered from the Inspired Shade Natural Shade Collection. Starting December 30th, 2025, all motors except Power Lift will use a hardware system that fits on a 1½" head rail. This includes motors from the Inspired Shades and Smart Home Collection motor programs. With this system change, the motors themselves remain exactly the same, maintaining their programming and operating instructions. What’s new is the hardware system that attaches the motor to the headrail. This updated design is more compact, allowing our motors to fit on a 1½ inch head rail. The 1½" headrail is perfect for installations where space is limited, like inside shallow window frames. Because the system is more compact, it also helps contribute to a quieter motorized experience.  Please note our decorative metal bottom bar option is now limited to a maximum of 98". It was previously available to order up to 110". This limitation has been put into place to help ensure every shade meets our quality standards. Bottom bars with widths wider than 98" are difficult to produce without flaws in the finishing process. This applies to all 3 colors: Antique Brass, Black Nickel, and Satin Nickel. If you have a current open quote in Touchpoint for an Inspired Roller Shade order with a Decorative Metal Bottom Bar wider than 98", please revalidate the quote before sending the order through to ensure it aligns with the new specifications. Designed for open roll roller shades, Exact Lift Pro eliminates the need for a raceway bar. See below for comparison of Exact Lift Pro to Exact Lift/Easy Lift. Please note, Exact Lift Pro is available for open roll shades only. Our standard Exact Lift and Easy Lift control options will remain available for open roll and cassette shades. Exact Lift Pro will be a free control option.
 Exact Lift Pro does not require a raceway bar for open roll shades. Tension Wheel Exact Lift Pro offers an improved way to adjust shade tension. Tension wheels are located on the spring side of the shade. Tension wheels can be adjusted to reduce or add tension.
